Day 1

The 16th op April was the day of our flight to Spain. There were some struggles in organizing this. I would fly with my best friend Evi, from another class at Maaslandcollege, to Girona and then drive to Cadaques. But if we flew with Ryanair (the cheapest flying company) we had to have an adult of 18+ with us. So, i asked my grandparents to join us in the flight and then go to antoger city. Luckily they did this !

We left my home at half past 3 in the night to drive to Wezen airport in Germany. When we arrived we still had some time to walk through the shops and eat something. Our plane left at half past 6 in the morning and we arrived at Girona airport at half past 8. After we finally found the car we rented we could drive to Cadaques, which was still a long drive througn mountains.

I Cadaques we met the people that would take care of us. We had to work in Marine"s restaurant called Enoteca but first we walked a bit through the city with the sun shining on us. Then we started to work at half past 1 because it was so bussy. I found it hard to fit in, we had to do a lot of things at the same time, but Marine was really nice for us. We could take a 3 hour break at 4 o"clock and work at 7. But because we were so tired of the trip, we were allowed to leave at 8 o'clock and sleep. They had taken care of a appartment for us.
